Terms of Service
Version 2.1 · Effective: 16 October 2026 · Previous versions
These terms apply to every customer who opens an account on voiser.live or uses the Voiser Live service.
1. Parties and formation
1.1. These Terms of Service ("Terms") form the agreement between the organisations and individuals using the Voiser Live service ("Service") ("Customer", "you") and Voiser Teknoloji Limited Şirketi ("Voiser", "we"). By opening an account, ticking an acceptance box or using the Service you accept these Terms; the agreement is concluded electronically at that moment and no handwritten signature is required.
1.2. If you open an account on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you are authorised to bind that organisation.
1.3. These Terms form a single whole with the Privacy Policy, the Sales and Licence Agreement and, with respect to event content, the Data Processing Agreement ("DPA"). In case of conflict the order of precedence is: (1) the Sales and Licence Agreement and its Order/Package Summary, (2) the DPA, (3) these Terms, (4) the Privacy Policy.
1.4. In case of discrepancy between the Turkish and English versions, the Turkish version prevails.
2. Definitions
- Service: the cloud-based software service (SaaS) that translates speech at live events into other languages in real time and produces captions, translated audio, transcripts and summaries.
- Workspace: the account holding the Customer's events, rooms, team and package entitlements.
- Room: a broadcast unit opened independently within an event, with its own source/target languages and manager.
- Listener: a person who joins a room via QR code or link to listen to or read the translation; no account is required.
- Event content: what is spoken in a room, the text and audio outputs generated from it, and files uploaded by the Customer.
- Usage minute: the time a room is live, measured per minute without rounding; concurrent rooms are counted separately.
- Package: the scope of service purchased by or assigned to the Customer, with limits such as minute allowance, number of rooms, concurrent languages, participant capacity and validity period.
3. Scope of the Service
3.1. The Service translates what is spoken in a room into the selected target languages in real time and delivers it to Listeners on their own devices. After the event, outputs such as transcripts and summaries may be generated depending on your package.
- The number of target languages per room, concurrent rooms and participant capacity are stated in your package.
- The Service does not provide interpreter booths, receiver devices or human interpreters and does not undertake to replace them.
- The Listener's internet connection, device and the venue's sound system are outside the scope of the Service.
3.2. We may add, change or remove features to improve the Service; we will give reasonable notice of any material change that adversely affects your active package.
4. Account and team
- You are responsible for the accuracy and currency of the information you provide.
- You must safeguard access to your account and are responsible for the actions of anyone you invite to your workspace.
- Roles you assign to team members determine their permissions; removing a member ends their access.
- You must notify us immediately if you become aware of unauthorised use of your account.
- The Service is not intended for persons under 18.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Broadcast unlawful content, hate speech, incitement to violence or harassment.
- Upload or broadcast content infringing third-party intellectual property, personality or privacy rights.
- Damage or abuse the Service's infrastructure or disrupt other customers' use.
- Place abnormal load on the Service with automated tools, circumvent security measures, reverse-engineer the Service or analyse it to build a competing product.
- Rent, sell or sub-license account or access credentials to third parties; use in client events you personally organise as a professional organiser is excluded from this prohibition.
- Use the Service in breach of export-control or sanctions laws.
6. Event content, consents and AI transparency
6.1. The Customer is responsible for informing speakers and participants that speech will be translated and transcribed and, where required, for obtaining their consent. With respect to event content the Customer is the data controller and we are the processor; details are set out in the DPA.
- Event content belongs to you; we claim no ownership in it.
- You grant us permission to process, translate and store the content for the period stated in your package, solely to provide the Service.
- You represent that you hold the necessary rights to any speaker photos, logos and presentation files you upload.
- We do not use your content to train general-purpose AI models.
6.2. AI transparency: translations, captions, synthetic voice, transcripts and summaries generated by the Service are AI output. Under Article 50 of the EU Artificial Intelligence Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689) we state in the interface that they are AI output and mark exported files in a machine-readable manner. Where you publish or share these outputs publicly, it is the Customer's responsibility to provide any "AI-generated" disclosure required by applicable law.
7. Nature of the translation
Translations, captions, audio and transcripts are AI output; they are not sworn, notarised or official translations. Accuracy is not guaranteed and errors may occur. Legal, medical, financial or safety-critical decisions must not be based on these outputs; where such a need exists, a human interpreter or certified translator should be used.
Speech rate, background noise, technical terminology and accent affect output quality. Post-event summaries are of the same nature and should be reviewed before publication.
8. Packages, minute allowance and payment
Prices, package contents, payment methods, renewal, cancellation and refund rules are set out in the Sales and Licence Agreement. In summary:
- One-off packages: minutes may be used during the package validity period; remaining minutes lapse at the end of that period.
- Subscriptions (where offered): monthly and annual subscriptions grant a fresh minute allowance at the start of each period (month or year); unused minutes do not roll over. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period unless cancelled.
- Add-on packages: you may buy additional minute packages from the panel at any time; an add-on runs for its own term. If you have several packages, a broadcast's minutes are deducted, among the packages that cover the room's capacity, first from the trial and then from the package that expires soonest, so that minutes about to expire are not wasted.
- A running broadcast is not cut off: if your allowance runs out during a broadcast, the broadcast continues. The trial is excluded from this rule; a trial broadcast stops when the trial minutes run out.
- Overage (quoted packages): overage is on by default for packages assigned under a quotation. You may continue broadcasting once your allowance is exhausted; the excess time is calculated per minute at the hourly rate stated in your Package Summary and invoiced accordingly. You can switch overage off in the panel at any time; while it is off, no new broadcast can be started once your allowance is exhausted, a running broadcast is not cut off and its excess time is invoiced at the same rate.
- Packages bought online: there is no overage. No new broadcast can be started once your allowance is exhausted; the time by which a running broadcast exceeds your allowance is deducted from the allowance of the next package you buy.
- You are notified in the panel and by e-mail when you reach 80% and 100% of your allowance.
- The scope of enterprise packages assigned under a quotation is set out in the Sales and Licence Agreement and Package Summary you accept online.
9. Capacity and scheduling
Large events must be scheduled in advance. Capacity is prepared for scheduled broadcasts; unscheduled broadcasts are limited to capacity available at that moment. The screen shows the available capacity before a broadcast starts. A broadcast already in progress will not be cut off on capacity grounds.
10. Support and service continuity
- We provide the maintenance and technical support needed to keep the Service operational and give advance notice of planned maintenance where possible.
- Live-event-day support is provided through the channels defined in your package or bespoke agreement.
- In the event of a failure attributable to us that prevents delivery of the Service, we will make an equitable adjustment for the affected period (minute credit or term extension).
11. Intellectual property
- The platform's software, interface, design, trademarks and logos belong to us. You receive only a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable right to use the Service.
- Your event content and the transcripts and outputs generated from it belong to you.
- We may use feedback you provide to improve the product without any obligation to you.
- You may not use our trademarks or logos in your own materials without our prior written permission. We may name your organisation and logo in our reference list; you may object at any time by written notice.
12. Confidentiality
Each party shall keep confidential the commercial, technical and financial information it learns under this agreement and shall not disclose it to third parties without the other party's written consent, except where required by law. This obligation survives termination.
13. Limitation of liability
We provide the Service as is and with reasonable care. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
- We are not liable for the accuracy of translation outputs or for the consequences of decisions taken in reliance on them.
- We are not liable for disruptions caused by matters outside our control such as internet connectivity, listener devices, venue sound systems or power.
- We are not liable for indirect damages, loss of profit, loss of reputation or loss of data.
- In all cases our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
These limits do not apply to liability arising from wilful misconduct or gross negligence, liability for personal-data breaches that cannot be limited by law, or mandatory consumer-protection rules.
14. Suspension and termination
- We may suspend your account or terminate the agreement in case of breach of the acceptable-use rules, non-payment or a situation threatening the security of the Service. Where possible we will notify you first and allow fifteen (15) days to cure; where security is directly threatened, notice may follow the action.
- You may close your workspace at any time by sending a closure request to hello@voiser.ai. Your request is completed within thirty (30) days at the latest and your data is deleted within the periods stated in the Privacy Policy.
- You may download your transcripts and outputs from the panel before closure; a bulk export of all your data is provided on request. After closure this data cannot be recovered.
- Confidentiality, intellectual property, limitation of liability and dispute-resolution provisions survive termination.
15. Force majeure
Events beyond the parties' control such as natural disaster, war, epidemic, widespread internet or infrastructure outages and governmental decisions constitute force majeure; the parties' obligations are suspended for its duration. If force majeure exceeds thirty (30) days the parties shall review the agreement in good faith.
16. Personal data
The processing of personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy; our processing of event content as a processor is governed by the DPA. Both documents form an integral part of these Terms.
17. Changes
17.1. We may update these Terms. The effective date and version number of each version appear at the top of the document; previous versions are published in an archive and the version you accepted can be viewed in your account.
17.2. Material changes (changes that may be to your disadvantage, such as those concerning fees, minute calculation, liability, data use and termination) are notified to the e-mail address on your account at least fifteen (15) days before they take effect and presented for your acceptance in the panel at your first login after the effective date. They do not apply to you until you accept them; until then the current terms remain in force until the end of your paid period or licence term, and your right not to renew or to terminate is reserved.
17.3. Changes that are in your favour, merely clarify, or are required by a change in law take effect on publication; these are also announced by e-mail.
18. Governing law and jurisdiction
This agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The parties shall first attempt to resolve disputes in good faith. The Istanbul (Çağlayan) Courts and Enforcement Offices have jurisdiction over unresolved disputes. The rights of users who are consumers in Türkiye to apply to consumer arbitration committees and consumer courts under Law No. 6502 are reserved.
